On May 8–9, Village School is hosting a series of events to celebrate ten years of Jambalaya, our publication by, for, and about middle school girls. We are planning a full weekend of festive events in honor of our award-winning magazine and the girls who have contributed to it throughout the years.

Saturday, May 8, 5:30-7:00 p.m.–Jambalaya Family Feast at Christ Episcopal Church
Saturday, May 8, 7:00-8:30 p.m.–Family Square Dance at Christ Episcopal Church
Sunday, May 9, 1:00 p.m.–”Footsteps in the Fog” reading and awards ceremony at Village School
We hope you can attend this celebration for Jambalaya, which for a decade, has provided a forum for girls to dare, to dream, to create. Proceeds from the weekend events will help fund the publication of a commemorative issue containing ten years of winning entries from the annual short story contest.
